Viking Bank Summer Online Savings Rate at 3.00%APY

Savings rate are down but there’s one online banking that features a special summer saver rate at 3.00%APY.

One of Viking Bank’s featured specials is the Summer Saver that offers a great rate of 3.00%APY and requires only a minimum deposit of $100. To obtain the 3.00%APY, however, you must have a maintaining balance of $1,000. Funds must be new also and not just funds coming from other deposits in the bank. Offer applies to consumer customers only with active consumer checking account.

Offer expires September 30, 2009. The bank’s $4 monthly fee, however, can reduce your earnings if your balance falls below the minimum daily balance requirement of $200.
