Comerica is offering up to $300 in bank bonus to interested individuals who are looking for extra cash. However, just like any checking account promotions, the process to get the $300 bank bonus is not that simple. You have to meet certain requirements before you can qualify to receive the bank bonus.

Here is how it works:

1. Open a qualifying checking account between April 26, 2010 to June 30, 2010;

2. Add one or all of the following services:

Add web bill pay. For signing up and paying an average of five or more bills with Comerica Web Bill Pay each month for six consecutive months, you earn $75.00.

Rio Bank is offering a free bank checking account at 5.50%APY. The bank checking account rate is one of the highest bank checking account rate in Texas.

The bank requires $100 as minimum opening deposit with your first order of 50 checks free. There is no monthly minimum balance requirement and your first ATM or debit card is free with no monthly fee.

However, you will earn the 5.50%APY on your daily balance of $.01 to $25,000 only once you meet the bank’s criteria. If you fail to meet the criteria set by the bank or your daily balance is over $25,000 you will only earn the base rate set by the bank for any amount over $25,000.
